Tuesday

‘Rainy days and Mondays’, and now Tuesday is here, and not only rainy, but also windy and cold.  Feels a lot like ‘fall’, in more ways than one.

More losses.  The leaf-peeping trip is definitely not happening due to scheduling problems.  Some disturbing news from a family member.  An injury on my most recent hiking trip.  For a few days my body and brain shut down and only tears would fall.  I could sure use a call from my Mom;  just to hear her voice would help to ground me.  When I can’t walk quickly on the earth, the waves of grief can and do reach me.

I just received a call, another loss, this time a first cousin who was my older brother’s age.  He and his family were very close to us when we were children growing up in the same city.  He died Monday morning, his heart failed, he was young.  Life is so fleeting and fragile.  This very moment is all we have, and now I do not wish to spend this moment crying any longer.

Tomorrow will hopefully bring sunshine or perhaps a rainbow!

Another notable quotable or random rambling??

Guess what??  Judy Price is writing!

After some rather inexperienced and technically naive comments, that my wonderful brother-in-law who set up this site finds humorous, (which is why he offered to host my very own blog for one year) I am online :)

The latest one, ”What url do I use to get to the site to log in?  I tried www.wordpress@marc-it-up.com just now, but the link was broken, an oops! from google said.”

To which he replied, “Urls never have @ symbols in them those are emails so that would explain why that wouldn’t work :) ”

However, the one that he enjoyed so much that prompted him to host this blog is,  “I much prefer Coywolf to Wolfoyte”, referring to crossbreeding between wolves and coyotes.  “There are cunning foxes, so why not coy wolves?”  Of course my younger brother had to comment that he had heard of “sly foxes”, to which I replied, “Yes, sly and cunning are the same thing, and I wanted to keep the ‘c’ for ‘consistency’ to describe both”:)

I will not try to disappoint . . .
