About
As you have already gathered, my name is Judy, and even though my last name is Price, as a divorced woman, I am ‘Price-less’. . .
There have been several losses in my life of various kinds, some through death, and others not. The grief for all is similar.
Humour is the remedy and balance. My poetry is based on personal emotion and experience. I have found the lyrical rhythm of concise word use to be a brief and cathartic release.
This blog is a format for me to express myself, and a means to publish my writing on-line. My hope is that it will entertain and resonate with others who can relate to my own personal journey.
Now that I am adding my relationship and break-up advice articles to my own site, I think it wise to also add my professional biographical information.
I have both a Bachelor of Psychology and a Master of Education in Adult Education and Counselling Psychology degrees.
In the past I taught psychology and counselled in the college system. For several years I practised individual, marriage, family, and separation counselling. I was also the director of an EAP. Most recently I have been facilitating divorcecare recovery groups.
I am a non-practising Registered Nurse. Nursing was my first career which enabled me to fund my university education.
